Information used by the site

When you sign in, the hosting identity service supplies an account identifier, email address, and display name. The site uses this information to recognize your account and distinguish owner access. It does not receive your sign-in password.

Account records may include saved comic favorites, the current reading page for an issue, and timestamps. If checkout is enabled, records may also include purchase attempts, issue identifiers, transaction references, payment status, amount, and currency. Full card numbers are not stored in the comic database.

If you email support, the operator receives the information you include, such as your email address, request, and any transaction reference. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not necessary to resolve your request.

Hosting, authentication, security, and content-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, access times, and request logs to deliver and protect the service.

Browser storage and external resources

The reader uses browser local storage for viewer settings, a local reading position, and whether navigation hints have been seen. Signed-in reading progress is also saved with your account. Browser storage persists until cleared or removed by your browser.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Requests for these fonts can disclose technical information such as your IP address to the font provider. Sign-in and hosting providers may use their own cookies or other storage for authentication and security.

Google AdSense is configured on this site. Its advertising script may contact Google and use cookies or other identifiers depending on Google’s settings and applicable consent requirements. See Your Privacy Choices for first-party page-count controls and Google’s advertising privacy controls.

How information is used

Information is used to provide account access, save favorites and reading progress, deliver entitled content, respond to support requests, process and reconcile transactions when available, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use the comic account records to make automated decisions about employment, credit, housing, or similar significant matters.

Disclosures and service providers

The site runs on ChatGPT Sites infrastructure with hosting and data services, including Cloudflare. OpenAI provides the sign-in and Sites environment. These providers process information to deliver their services and may also have independent privacy responsibilities under their own policies.

Stripe is configured as a payment provider for future checkout. When enabled, information necessary for checkout can include your email address and a purchase-attempt reference. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy. Checkout is currently disabled.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, to investigate misuse or protect rights and security, or to a successor operator if the service is transferred, subject to applicable protections. Comic-account records are not provided to AdSense by this application. The AdSense script can independently receive technical information from your browser.

Retention, security, and processing locations

Account-linked reading and purchase records are retained while needed to deliver library access, maintain service records, handle disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal requirements. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and document requests. Retention depends on the information’s purpose and legal obligations rather than one fixed period.

You can request deletion of eligible records. Some transaction or security records may need to remain where permitted or required by law. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate, subject to applicable requirements.

Your controls and requests

You can remove saved favorites through the site and clear local reader data through Your Privacy Choices. To request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of eligible account information, email beuhleesanime@gmail.com. State the request and the account email, if applicable.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity before disclosing or deleting account records. Do not send a password or government identification unless a secure, necessary verification method has been agreed. Deleting browser storage does not delete server-side account records or the account you maintain with your identity provider.
